So what we broke this time :fingers crossed:

All new improved quick epg returns with new complex calculations to try and display the correct time and description.
Quick EPG loads by default if available, it doesn't need to be turned on. (occasionally it can be blank on slow servers, so might need to go back and forward to display it).
Quick EPG only available if your provider makes use of enigma2.php API.
Quick EPG Channels remain blank for channels with bad data and weird times.
Full EPG loads over the top of Quick EPG if set up.

Live Channels as well as categories can now be hidden by pressing the menu button on a category/channel list. Yeah!
Not doing this for VOD or series, they are likely to change too much.

Daily EPG (long press epg) code has been amended. This automatically works out the timeshift offset and doesn't use the offset in settings. (hopefully)

Catch-up has be totally rewritten again - Hopefully I have not broke it, its so difficult to get right.
There is a new catch-up timeshift settings in playlist settings to offset the displayed times list. This does not offset the catchup programme itself.

Category buttons have been compacted a little to fit in the extra menu (hide) button, thats been moved to the end of the list.

Playlists screen have been rejigged to show the active/max connections a little better.

You should be able to update over the top of old. I don't think you need to delete the json file

- Very minor change. Some boxes were not liking the video aspect ratio being set as 16:9 automatically. So I have removed this bit of code. You can still cycle through aspect ratios with green button if your box allows though

OK I spent a week experimenting with something and breaking stuff.
Then I gave up and undid all my broken stuff.
Therefore there still might be broken stuff.

Only minor tweaks this release.

Fixed python 3.9.5 hide categories crash

Added in a few more default values for infobar (someone reported issues with that - never seen it myself)

If stream extension set to m3u8, and stream type set to 1, I override this and change it to 4097 on playing stream. 1 doesn't work with m3u8 extension.



LCDs/Front panels might be fixed for when the stream is playing. :derpthink:


If daily short epg is shown and OK button is pressed to watch stream, short epg should now close before opening stream. (Prevents a double screen show on return)



If streamtype set to 1 on live, and it keeps repeatly failing, then the stream tries switching to 4097 automatically so see if this plays better.(experimental)


There maybe dragons...

And just to add, XUI-one quick epg panels (enigma2.php) are still broke. They broke it.. not me. So if you got no quick epg, your only option for now is to use the full epg via epg importer.

Just a tiny update of a few things I have tweaked in the last few weeks. No real need to update as nothing important



Logo Tweak - straightened the "X"

Removed rogue hyphen line - server.py

Removed duplicate imports - mainmenu.py
Removed unused menu list and corrected the enablewraparound on the real menu list / removed duplicate variable - playlists.py

Reordered some code - plugin.py

removed enigma2.php reference as its no longer used in this plugin - processfiles.py
Minor amend to haze skin lists

Added reset data to main menu - incase you need to clear the json file - so you can do it from the plugin now rather than ftp.

Added a restart gui prompt to main settings for the options that require a restart gui
Added a default port 80 for playlist settings - for lines that don't include it.

XStreamity V3.56

Added in direct source streams for XUI ONE panels - recording vod/series/catchup still uses original url for now. I had an issue and not got around to fixing it tonight.
Only users that have an XUI ONE provider will notice any difference. Everyone else everything should be exactly the same. (Hopefully).

Moved "reset stored data" out of main menu

and a quick way to see the current playing stream url is to use openwebif. click television tab. click current tab at the top
Direct sources have /play/ in the url rather than /live/ /movies/ /series/
