Barry Allen v4.5.8 for Dreambox 7025, 7020, 600 and 800

Hi !

Nachdem Barry Allen als Multiboot Lösung jetzt auch für die OE basierenden PowerPC CPU basierenden boxen in der Grundfunktionalität verfügbar ist (also 7020 und 600er) ist es Zeit die Bastelstube zu verlassen und auf breiterer Basis zu testen und eure Inputs und Feedback einzuholen.

Wenn man auf der 7020 ein Enigma2 Image in den Flash tut kann man eigentlich bereits jetzt die volle Funktionalität des BA Plugins nutzen, selbst der Bootmanager funktioniert dann wie gewohnt.

Die gewohnten BA menu als E1 Plugin gibt es derzeit nicht, also nicht danach suchen :-)

Da die E2 Images auf der 600er noch sehr experiementell sind hat man dort halt nur das shell script interface und der Bootmanager zur verfügung, kann damit aber genauso images auf die harddisk auspacken und zum booten auswählen, was ja bis jetzt mangels Unterstützung des Flashwizzward nicht möglich war !

Wenn also wer das Beta des Barry Allen für die 7020 und 600PVR testen will, anbei der Kit.

Installation entweder über manual install im BP nachdem man es per FTp auf /tmp kopiert hat, oder:

cd /tmp
ipkg install /tmp/enigma2-plugin-extensions-barryallen*.ipk

die wichtigsten Befehle im Telnet:

cd /media/ba
ba.sh extract namedesimagesohnenfi nameimbootmenu

(image muss man vorher auf /MB_mages auf der dreambox FTPed haben, ist normal ein link zu /media/hdd/MB_Images)

ba.sh boot nameimbootmenu

ba.sh info

zeigt an was man gebootet hat.

ba.sh disablebootmanager

das disabled den bootmanager falls man eh immer nur 1 image booten will-

ba.sh backup nameimbootmenu

erstellt ein nfi backup (booted für das gebootete image verwenden)

Also Viel Spass beim testen, und wenn wer die Menus vom Barry Allen als Enigma1 Plugin nachbauen will soll er sich in der Bastelstube melden (vor mir aus erstmals auch nur mit dem Flexmenu - es sind ja eh nur immer die Shell script aufrufe dahinter die die eigentliche Arbeit tun) !

Und falls sich wer noch nicht mit BA auseinadergesetzt hat - die Doku dafür gibt es auf [Değerli Ziyaretci, linki görmeniz icin bu mesaja cevap yazmanız gerekiyorÜye olmak icin burayı tıklayınız], in einem enimga2 image für die 7020 gilt die im Prinzip 1:1 genauso wie auf der 7025 für die sie geschrieben wurde.

PS: Und Nein, für die nicht OE basierenden Boxen (7000,...) ist es nicht geplant BA verfügbar zu machen, obwohl das theoretisch auch ginge, aber man soll ja niemals nie sagen.

1) Prerequisites

During the installation there has to be CF
card in the Dreambox (attention: insert or remove
into Dreambox 7025 cardreader only when Dreambox
is turned off), or an USB stick which is successfully
detected (in case of problems try an USB Hub).

If Barry Allen on USB is used then put
the CVS Image from OoZooN in Flash, because this image
has the USB drivers permanently built into the kernel.

If neither CF card not USB Stick are attached then
installation takes place on the Harddisk. Because
the images then also run from there it will run
permanently and it could be necessary that you disable
Harddisk Standby in the images to allow running Barry
Allen stable from Harddisk.


2) Installation

First boot from Flash and then copy the file
enigma2-plugin-extensions-barryallen*.ipk
to /tmp with ftp (TCP/IP must be working already).

If you have an image in Flash that offers a Blue
Pannel Manual Addon Install, then you can use this
functionality to install the ipk file.

If not, then install Barry Allen by entering the
following commands in a Telnet session:

cd /
ipkg install /tmp/enigma2-plugin-extensions-barryallen*.ipk

Then restart enigma2 and the Barry Allen Plugin
shoudl show up under Games / Plugins.

In the Images installed by Barry Allen you don't have
to install the Barry Allen Plugin anymore.
The Barry Allen Plugin integrates himself into then
automatically during the image extract.

And you can remove Barry Allen if you are booted
from Flash:

ipkg remove enigma2-plugin-extensions-barryallen

3) Usage

There is now the enigma2 Plugin of Barry Allen included
under Games / Plugins of the enigma2 menu,
which offers the full functionality of Barry Allen.

For extracting of nfi images in Barry Allen copy the
image files to /MB_Images (normally a link to
/media/hdd/MB_Images created during Barry Allen
installation)

If there are Problems with image extraction or other tasks
with the enigma2 plugin try doing it in telnet:

cd /media/ba
ba.sh extract nameoftheimage

On the next reboot this new Image should be available
in the bootmanager for choosing to boot it and then it
can be customized and used as usual.

The Bootmanager now should remember the last booted
image and hence recordings from Deepstandby should work
now.

Arkadasim bu 7020 icin olsada,7020ler icin Flashwizzard 6.3 ideal.
Dreambox 600 ve 7025ler icin Flashwizzard olmadigi icin bu programi kurman gerekiyor.Ben Yüksel usta ile denedim 600de Bootlogo oldu ama HDDye attigimiz Imageleri bir türlü instal yapmadi.Duyduguma göre 7025de sorunsuz oluyormus.
Barryallen hala beta bir programdir ve Flashwizzard gibi kullanisi kolay bir program degil.

Arkadasim bu konu Ihad´da test ediliyor ve bayagi asama kaydedilmis.
Dreambox 600 ve 7020de 0.32 versiyonu oluyordu ve bunu 40.8 ile degistirilmis,simdi sorunsuz calistigi yaziliyor.Bende 600 ve 7020 olmadigi icin deneme sansim yok.
Burada sana bir FAQ ile yeni versiyonlari sunuyorum.Test eder denersin.

Usta sen önce yaz sende Hagi Dreambox var.
Eger sende Dreambox 500,5620,7000 yada 7020 varsa bu Multiboota lüzum yok.
Bu bir Plugins degildir,bu bir Multibootdur.
Flashwizzarda benzeyen bir programdir.
Bu program ile Dreambox 600,7020 ve 7025 icin HDDye,USB Sticke yada CF Karta birden fazla Image atabilirsin ve Reboot yaptiktan sonra Istedigim Imagle TVye bakabilirsin.
Flahwizzard son versiyonu olan 6.3 den beri yani yaklasik 16 aydan beri yeni sürüm cikarmadigi icin Yeni model Dreamboxlara uymuyor.

Eger 7020ye enigma2 Imagei atarsan Flashwizzard isini görmeyecektir,o zaman barryallene ihtiyac duyacaksin,ama enigma2 su an ne 7020de nede 600ler stabil calisiyor ve skinlerdeki yazilarin okunamadigi halde deniliyor.
